L-R: HiPitch Deep Cleansing Oil, Naris Up Marine Collagen Skin Conditioner (toner), AQUALJUJU AquaMoist Hyaluronic Acid Essence, Kiss My Face Peaches and Creme 4% Alpha-Hydroxy Moisturizer
I always cleanse double cleanse my skin whenever I use makeup so that I can be sure all of it is removed. In addition to the HiPitch Cleansing oil, I also use a Dove cream cleanser. In the mornings, I only use Cetaphil to cleanse my skin. It's really nice and great for sensitive skin!
Even though I use HiPitch cleansing oil, I just only recently started using it because my Shiseido TISS cleansing oil was done with. Truthfully, HiPitch sucks -_-. It doesn't really get rid of my makeup even though I had to squirted out a lot of oil and it felt so greasy even after I washed it off! I've never used a cleansing oil that was that bad! The only thing I like about it was the scent.. I will never purchase it again and I don't recommend it to anyone.
For my toner, I'm currently using Naris Up. Apparently people are saying that it has alcohol in it so I'm not going to repurchase that again because whats the point of having a toner that dries the skin instead of moisturizes it?
For essence, I don't use the AquaMoist everyday because it causes me to break out if I put too much on. I only put a drop or so on every few days.
I already reviewed the Kiss My Face moisturizer a few months ago. Super good and I still recommend it to everyone. It stings a bit when you put it on, but I know that it will speed up the cell turnover which is great! It gets rid of my old red acne scars faster because of that.
Now onto acne products. I have used so many acne products over the last decade years but I'm still trying to find which ones are the best.
L-R: Shiseido Purifying Mask, Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, Pinkey Blackhead Off Face Mask, Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 5, Shiseido Pureness Blemish Clearing Gel
My new acne mask I'm in love with is the Shiseido Purifying Mask. You only put it on for 5 minutes but yet it gets rid of my breakouts almost the next day (or at least it makes them much smaller). It works even better than the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, which was one of my favourites for the past few years. The only downside is that it is quite expensive for such a small bottle.
Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque is great because it's cheap and it gets the job done. I now mainly use it for my blackheads on my nose. It sucks out all the unwanted oils on your face. I don't exactly like the mint smell too much though because it's quite overpowering.
I also use the Pinkey Blackhead Off Face Mask to get rid of my blackheads. It's not that affective though so I don't really recommend it. I just wanted to try it because I needed to add some extra products for free shipping when I bought some stuff from Sasa.com a while ago.
For the Shiseido blemish gel, I don't really recommend it. You don't get much for such a low % of salicydic acid (0.5%) for such an expensive price. Drugstore products are much better in my opinion.
I also use masks every few days to keep my skin moisturized.
These are my current faves! I did a review earlier on the Hisamitsu Lifecella eye masks and I also found my new favourite face mask (IsQueen). I like how it fits my face better than most as I have a small face and most of the sheet masks I've tried are pretty big, except for My Beauty Diary masks, which I like also. The IsQueen masks I've tried aren't spectacular like WOW! but I like how it moisturizes my skin without breaking out.
On a side note, I've been buying too much skincare lately.. I want more makeup T_T
